FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to be a primary care member to receive services?

No, our weight loss, peptide, and hormone replacement programs do not require primary care membership with us. If you are a DPC member, you do receive an additional 10% discount off these services.

Are there copays or deductibles when seeing a provider at Radiant DPC?

No, you will never pay a copay or deductible at Radiant DPC.

What about labs?

We believe that pricing should be upfront and clear. Please see our price list for current cost of common labs. Nearly all labs can be drawn in office.

Can I get a same-day appointment?

Same day, next day, and telemedicine visits are all available to members to ensure they receive care when and how they need it.

Will my insurance cover my visit?

No, you can still be a member at Radiant DPC with or without insurance, but we will not bill insurance in our office. You can still use your insurance for prescriptions, imaging, or other healthcare needs outside of Radiant DPC.

If I have Medicare or Medicaid can I be a member?

At this time we are not accepting patients with Medicare or Medicaid.

What’s included with the membership?

Your membership fee covers unlimited visits at Radiant DPC, minor procedures, access to your provider for after hours urgent needs, and one yearly physical exam with basic labs (CBC, CMP, TSH, HgA1c, Lipid panel, Vitamin D, and PSA for males over 40). Additional labs, imaging, injectables, and IV infusions are extra, but are at a substantial discount with our partners. We will also help find deep discounts on prescription medication costs through various programs. DPC fees do not cover ER visits, hospitalizations, specialist referrals or visits to any other healthcare providers.

Do you prescribe opioid or benzodiazepine medications?

We believe that chronic controlled substances (narcotics and benzodiazepines) have a limited role in primary care and are only prescribed rarely and very sparingly. Chronic pain requiring narcotics is best managed by a pain management specialist, and we are happy to help find one for you. We can also work together on non-narcotic options for your pain and to manage other medical conditions. We do not treat anxiety with benzodiazepines, but can offer other medications and techniques often successful in treating anxiety

Can I cancel at any time?

We understand that circumstances may change. If for any reason you choose to cancel your membership, we simply request a 30 day written notice. During that 30 days, you will maintain all your membership benefits and the same level of care. Members may be placed on a waiting list for re-enrollment and additional enrollment fee will be required.

Does my membership cover visits to specialists or if I go to the hospital?

Preventing ER visits and specialist visits is something we aim to do at Radiant DPC. By focusing on prevention and wellness we avoid many of these unexpected visits. We recommend keeping an insurance plan, such as a high deductible plan since we are not considered an insurance plan.
